Solutions for Tension Headaches
A headache (medically known as cephalalgia) is generalized pain or discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck—and ranks amongst the most common local pain complaints. Headaches have a wide variety of causes, ranging from eye strain, sinusitis and tension, to serious conditions that are more rare. Most people suffering from headaches can feel much better by making lifestyle changes and increasing relaxation.
Tension headaches are often caused by inflammation in the limbic core (emotional center) of the brain due to stress stress.
Treatment
Applying the Infratonic 8000 transducer to the top of the head or the area of discomfort can be effective at reducing headache pain. Another effective method is slowly sweeping the transducer upward from the heart to the top of head (holding it several inches away from the body). Plus, treat the bottoms of the feet to be sure the pathway downward is clear. Repeat as needed for pain relief. To alleviate chronic stress or hidden triggers, apply the pelvic floor protocol.

As a chiropractor, I have found using the Infratonic machine directly after the sublaxation is adjusted on the area of pain delivers more effective—and faster—results. For low back and sciatic problems, correcting the cervical spine first, then using the Infratonic, gives more rapid relief of pain.
