Treatment to Reduce Inflammation
Cellular Trauma Causes Inflammation and Pain, and Interferes with Recovery
When our body's cells become traumatized by injury, surgery, chemical attack, or even strong emotions, they often go into shock, or cellular trauma, and start producing inflammatory chemicals in a desperate call for help. Inflammation in any location is one of the body's normal responses to injury or disease—generally accompanied by swelling, heat, redness and/or pain. Unfortunately, inflammation can cause pressure and impede movement within the body.
The unpredictable sound waves of the Infratonic 9 effectively stops the production of excess inflammation. As the cells stop producing inflammatory chemicals, they begin generating healing chemicals that pave the way toward accelerated recovery to reduce inflammation naturally.
Treatment
To Reduce Inflammation—regardless of its location in the body—you can place the Infratonic 9 transducer over the affected area for at least 20 minutes. This should be performed several times a day, or as needed for Sound Therapy and relief from inflammation.
Anti-Inflammatory Medications Can Impede Healing
Pharmaceutical companies have come up with a wide variety of drugs that promise to reduce inflammation and promote pain relief. Steroids (synthetic cortisol products, such as cortisone) relieve pain by blocking inflammation. Other pain medications, called non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (or NSAIDS) also inhibit inflammation.
Pharmaceutical companies promote products that claim to reduce inflammation, but anti-inflammatories still block the healing process for the sake of pain relief. Rather than blocking all inflammatory chemicals, we need the cells to produce the optimal amount of each chemical to accelerate healing.
When treating chronic pain sufferers who take anti-inflammatory medication, a slower recovery time is reported than treatment that uses the Infratonic alone. By calming the cellular trauma, the Infratonic converts an excessive inflammatory response into an effective healing response. Anti-inflammatories, by blocking inflammation, often block our healing response, which, in turn, can slow the healing.
